Eagle 'SIR' connecting rods are forged from 5140 steel. Eagle 'ESP' H-Beam connecting rods are forged from 4340 steel. All rods are packaged in weight matched sets. Each forging is x-rayed, sonic tested, and maganafluxed to insure quality. All rods are shot peened to relieve stress.
